the thing is most of the people who like to drink HATERade likes to stick their nose to other peoples problem..

Or people who are just tired of getting labeled scammer, gold digge ror grave robber just because some people ruin the name and the reputation of k-1 or cr-1. I see no problem In contacting the responsible agency if you really do believe there is a possibility of fraud. The petitioner and beneficiary will be given a chance to prove otherwise anyways

Yes, this happens.

It happened to my father (the most normal, non-suspicious guy around) in the 70's when he was leaving from behind the Iron Curtain. A handwritten letter pushed back all his plans by 6-8 months.

K-1 Process:
8/26/2011 - I-129f mailed
8/31/2011 - NOA1
2/03/2012 - RFE
2/09/2012 - RFE received through US Mail
2/14/2012 - RFE response mailed
2/16/2012 - RFE response received by CSC
2/17/2012 - Touch
3/08/2012 - NOA2
I-129f was approved in 190 days from NOA1 date.

3/15/2012 - NVC received
3/19/2012 - NVC left

3/21/2012 - Embassy received
3/28/2012 - Packet 3 received by beneficiary

...

01/28/2013 - Married

03/11/2013 - Sent AOS packet

05/17/2013 - EAP and AP approved in 66 days

10/26/2013 - Green Card Production email notification

Unfortunately it does happen. This was something that I was afraid of with my then fiance. I encourage anyone from small town keep your business to YOURSELF! It can be excited know that someone is coming to America but there will always be people who with attempt to derail one's happiness. I don't know how such issues will be handled by the embassy, I'm sure that others will provide insight. All the best.

I agree with you.Don't trust anyone cos going to the US is something to really be jealous about cos their friends think " Wow he is going to be rich and forget about Me"

That don't make since, because the Gov't go by evidence... Perhaps something was not right with the birth certificate. Anybody can say someone is the the biological parent of a child, but evidence is what they take action on, right?

It was up us to prove that she was a citizen and the natural child of a US Citizen. We only had the birth certificate. The evidence against her was apparently strong enough to revoke the US Citizenship. My attorney stated it was not worth the effort to fight it. He recommended just applying for adjustment since she was married to a US Citizen for 10 years already. Again, if somebody does not have the absolute need to know, then keep your lips sealed.

Okay, I understand now.... Thanks! :)
