Pak786 Call DOS on Monday 202-663-1225 or have your wife call. You need your case number and they may ask who the beneficiary is and the birth date or they may not...

Ask them if you are in Administrative processing at this time. They will tell you... From your other thread that is what it sounds like if they want to search something ... background checks is definitely searching something... ;)

I have DOS on speed dial btw

Just a comment/question, please don't take me wrong, Did you give your interview in English? I am asking this because there is a lot of possibility of miscommunication.

1st question was where my wife i told at the Shuttle service i told him i guess you don,t want to talk to her

Doesn't sound too polite. And telling the IO:

you going to give me visa or not

Sounds a little rude. I know it is a very frustrating process and you have been stuck in it for a long time now, but also think that there was a mistake at your part too (about the tax return) that further delayed your process. I also think that you probably are in AP. Hopefully, it wouldn't be too long now. Stay strong! :)

By the way, did you offer them your email address with password for additional evidence of bona fide marriage or they specifically asked for it?

Question to others: Is it common for IOs to ask for email address and passwords? I see that some others have also posted they were asked Skype or facebook id. Do they also ask for passwords? Isn't that too personal? Let me know what you guys think.

They asked my husband to open his FB account so he did... he didnt have anything to hide but im sure they can gain access to any of it if they wanted to no matter what. It does feel invasive but we are asking the US for a visa for us so we would have opened everything if they asked.

I think in the more higher fraud countries they do look at that more than others if they look at it at all in other countries
