Ok, I see in peoples timelines where they show that there case was "touched".. how do you know, I have looked at USCIS website, it is pretty vague and general about the process.

Never saw one on our case, most don't in my opinion when checking on line. The whole process is as you put it VAGUE, most of the time if you go over the accepted time lines, then get in action as indicated here in the postings.

And 'touch' often means nothing other than your petition was possibly moved to another office (could be within same building). Generally, nothing to get to excited about.
