Processing Centre & Interview

Hey all-

I have 2 questions:

How can you find out which processing centre your packet will get sent to from the Chicago lockbox?

Also, my husband, USC, and I both reside in Canada. Where will our interview be?

You'll know the service center once you get your NOA1. Your receipt number will start with WAC or EAC. WAC = California, EAC = Vermont.

Where in Canada do you live? The interview will be at the nearest consulate.

The interview will ONLY be in Montreal. Canada does not have any other US consuls for spousal interviews. There is no choice or " nearest " consulate for spousal interview.

the receipt # is in the electronic notification thingie you get, if you filled out the G-1145 , submitted it with the I-130.

or

you will know the receipt # from the I-797-C formletter that you receive.

The first three characters of the receipt # tell you which USCIS service center yer case is at.
