Today has been truly devastating in all ways possible. I have finally found out the complete truth as to why my fiance has acting the way she has for so long. Back in January she went to a rave with some friends and was drinking heavily and ended up at a bar afterwords. While in the bar she was drinking straight out of a vodka bottle and became severely drunk. One of her friends had taken advantage of her that night and had relations and she has no memory of anything that happened. The worst part is that she became pregnant, she tried to have an abortion but the doctor said it was to dangerous and so 25 days ago she had a baby boy. She initially gave it up for adoption but now wants to fight to get custody back with help from her parents because she is not working. At the moment the POS friend that did this to her does not know as they have not spoken since that night. I am in shock and have no idea what to do from this point. She sincerely apologized and said that i have always been the love of her life and would not know what to do without me. We both love each other very much but i dont know what to expect with the fiance visa pending..... IM LOST :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying::help:

Yikes! Why was she drinking so heavily? Does she have a drinking problem? That is why she ended up being taken advantage of? Put your thinking cap on... This is a decision that only you can make after completely thinking things through. You are in a very tough spot...

No she does not drink like that normally, I know when you go to events like that it promotes drinking and when friends pressure you it does not help. I will not be able to clearly think about this for a while. I can understand why she waited to tell me but it is very hard swallow all of this at once. I know it is not her fault for what happened to her even though she was very stupid to put her self in a position of getting that drunk but it is still devastating to know a man did that to her.

Yes it is sickening what some men do to women. It is good that you are aware that you are not thinking clearly at the moment. Let some time go by. Get a pen and paper and write down a list of pros and cons as to why you should persue this relationshiip. That way you will be looking at things black and white and not just on emotions.

I am also stunned and saddened to hear this.. especially since the process has been a long and tough journey and I hope you have some good people around you. I agree that it is a decision you need to take time over and yours to make. Thoughts are with you (F)

I love her very much and at the moment the situation is that she gave her son to the adoption house and went back ten days later to get custody. They had an inspector come to her house to evaluate if she is capable of supporting him. The problem is that she is not working and her father refuses to help her which leads me to believe that he would be better off getting adopted. Even if I wanted to help I cant because we are not married and I an not a brazilian citizen. She is very sad depressed and upset with all of this and she is now blaming herself for what happened which is not the case. This situation is very traumatic but I can not give up on her after all we have worked towards. It is crazy what we do for love but I just called immigration today and long behold my case is in the process of getting approved now after all of this madness.
