I just did more research and I thought I would share with everyone what I found. I don't want to be the Debbie Downer of the group - I am just concerned as I am an April 5 filer. I played with some numbers with Vermont and found some of the new dream Act petitions starting around Aug 20 or maybe earlier. Yes, Vermont is taking those petitions because they have nothing else important to do (sigh). I can not believe the number of petitions that have come in. They are FORWARDING ALL I-130's to another service center!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so angry right now.

The part that really upsets me - the I-821D applicants - (Dream Act) gets approved within 90 days.

I guess that is how many days until election day.

Has anything like this ever happened in the past before? If so, how long until things were back on track??? Makes me wonder about that December approve the Congressman estimated......

Where did you see this?

Just got off the phone from my fiance, and it was so frustrating guys...he was so angry with the staff there in uscis, and he was just expressing how bad he felt the processing...he was told by a lady who answered his calls and saying that we are March filer and right now they are still doing the Feb filers specifically Feb.27..so she advised us to wait another month to get another feedback? wow..what a hell they are doing .... :bonk: :bonk: :bonk::( :( :(

Okay so I finally got a response from my congressional office. They are simply good for nothing.

"The Vermont Service Center has responded to my inquiry with the following message:

This petition was received on March 8, 2012, and is pending review at the Vermont Service Center (VSC). VSC is currently processing this form type with a receive date of February 27, 2012 or earlier. You can find the current processing times posted on the www.uscis.gov website.

Immigration Services Officer / Congressional Unit

Unfortunately it appears that the Service Center has “retrogressed” on the I-129 F, meaning that the processing time they are currently reviewing has gone backwards. I know how eager you are about reuniting with your fiancé. I apologize that this is not the message you were hoping for. The Vermont Service will not transfer cases to the California Service Center unless there is a significant difference (such as years) between the dates, as it takes quite a bit of time to transfer files to the various centers. I deeply apologize that you must wait a few more moths for USCIS to review your fiancé’s file. Hopefully they will have a decision by December.

If you experience any future problems with this case, please do not hesitate to contact me. Once again, I regret that I do not have a more favorable response for you."

DECEMBER? Like seriously? Btw, my fiancé will be coming to Texas to join me whenever that is.

December?????....It can't take that long, the fact is they're really working on March now, and we know it!

Yes, we all know the truth, but can't do anything about it. They lie right to us. I wonder what they'd think of someone walking in their front door, and show them on one's phone Igor's list. I'd like to hear those liars explain that to one's face!!

I pray they do not take tomorrow off again. Otherwise, this weekend will kill me...

When I emailed my congressional office once, I had copied/pasted Igor's list for both CSC and VSC so she could see the difference... She was shocked, or pretended to be shocked.... Regardless of this, they're still just as helpless as us...

They're almost done with the group before mine, only 2 is left, so if they don't skip the next group then I can expect approval next week or the first 2 weeks of October.

Tigerflower! we will get our NOA2 besides the delay that has happened. I got everything ready for the embassy stage, except my police certificate, and medical exam. So by the time I get NOA2, I'm done with most of the requirments that listed on K-1 visa instruction form for Cambodian applicant. Have you studied on that yet? the next step?

I sincerely think a GROUP letter (or many individual letters about the same thing) should be written to the DHS Ombudsman for them to consider procedural change for the processing of I129f and I130 applications.... 1) There needs to be a better filing system at the service centers so applications are adjudicated in order. 2) Each service center needs to MONITOR their files and if one service center anticipates becoming backlogged, they need to work with the other center to SHARE the workload..so that no-one gets processed before time. July filers shouldn't be processed before a February filer at any service center. Those are my 2 issues, but there may be more..
