Okay guys I need some help I don't know what to do. This is my situation I'm doing an Adjustment of status based on marriage my wife US Citizen and I filled all the paperwork on our own, without any help from anyone just based on what I read online. Anyway up to this point everything had gone great all paperwork was correctly submitted, and I even had the interview with my wife and it went great believe it or not they only asked me like 3 question very nice officer, we have a son together so that helped a ton and had already been married almost 2 years. But one small problem I was missing some vaccinations, but the officer told me it wasn't a big deal to send it to him and he would send me my green card as soon as he had them that my application was basically approved.

So I went ahead and sent them right away waited 45 days no response so I requested an infopass went in and gave them a sealed copy of the vaccinations so that was taken care of waited about 30 days later I got a letter saying they had reconsidered their earlier decision and opened up the case again and requested that I give them a Department of Justice background check so I had my finger prints taken and sent in the results which was that I had a completely clean record. I followed all the mail in instructions on the letter and sent it to the specific officer that requested it.

Waited 60 days no answer a waited a little longer still no responds at this point it was 75 days already, and I know I should have acted sooner but I figured I was still in time to do something so I requested infopass once again but this time the only pass appointment available was 20 days from now! That's would put me over the 88 allowed as stated on the letter before it's rejected. I'm in day 83 now and my appointment is till the 15th 10 days over the 88 days. I don't know if they got the paperwork or not or whats going on, I'm very afraid that I might be rejected after getting this far. I tried walking in and talking to someone, but they told me they can't do anything that I must wait for my appointment and if it's rejected I can re-open the case if I have proof that I mailed it and complied, which I can prove since I do have a tracking number and a copy of the document they requested it's also dated correctly so it's obvious that I sent it in a long time ago. I don't know what to do any more any help would be welcome thank you. And sorry for any bad grammar English not my first language.

your English is very good. ;)

Honestly, like you described above, you did everything correct. it just didn't get at the USCIS to the right place in time. keep your head up & wait until your infopass pass app and they will hopefully figured if out by then.

good luck and keep us posted.
