the other two couples we spoke with who had travel plans like yours got their visas in a similar timeline like you mention. So you shouldn't have to worry. I think in our situation because the travel plans are farther out we got "bumped".

01/06/2009: NOA (arrived 01/09/09)

01/23/2009: Biometrics appt letter received

01/31/2009: Biometrics scheduled

05/20/2009: APPROVED

06/23/2009: 10 Year Green Card arrived

ACK!!!

She still doesn't have her passport back. Called the embassy last thursday and they said maybe Saturday, but Monday for sure. NOPE, wrong answer.

Called today and they told her Tomorow 100% for sure. Wait and see I guess.

I just called her and she said DHL had just called :) :) :)

They have the passport. She is going to pick it up tomorrow!!!!!

3/20/07 - Rec'd Social Security Card

3/21/07 - Checks Cashed and Case Status online

3/24/07 - NOA1 Rec'd for AOS and EAD

3/27/07 - rec'd Biometrics appt letter - scheduled for 4/20/07 @ 11:00am

4/02/07 - "touched"

4/20/07 - had biometrics appt.

4/21/07 - rec'd letter stating case was transferred to CSC

5/22/07 - rec'd Case Pending at CSC email

6/25/07 - EAD card production ordered

She told me there was a couple there (she had them hold the visa at the DHL office at the embassy) who came out with a denial. So even if the USC is there, it is no guarantee if you don't prepare.. :(

She showed me the visa last night online. Then I turned around and bought the plane tickets for January. I am broke (AGAIN) but it feels so good to see everything coming to fruition.

Now to pay for the wedding and reception(s).
