Expidite on the phone

my mother in law in usa called USCIS and she request for expidite after 5.5 months from NOA1

they gave her reciepet number start in TIF

but it couldent found on their website

anywayz they told her in 5 days u can hear something or litle longer

my question is what next ? now wht suppose to hear for approval wht next step plz help ))

You can call and ask to expedite something over the phone?? What kind of proof do you have to submit??

We wrote a letter, with the facts, see uscis expedite criteria.

The exact same proof as if you mailed them a letter requesting expedite.

I would say just wait the 5 days and then call again

First, the MIL can't request an expidite unless it's her case. Now, did the MIL give false information to the USCIS operator. Who's case is the MIL calling on, is it her daughter case? Is the daughter the petitioner?

Well you can also send a request to the service center email address. I called it in but I also sent them an email with my proof. I received an email from them that they were not able to locate my support for expedite. I re-forwarded them the email sent 5 days earlier, they responded with the approval of the expedite that same day. Within 4 hours of the expedite approval they had sent me a case update that my case was approved and was being forwarded to NVC.
