Got NOA1 on 8/30/12, still no NOA2

Hi, I sent the petitions for my parents on 8/27/2012 and got NOA1 on 8/31/2012, but still haven't gotten NOA2 yet. I checked USCIS website for the status, it's still on the intial review, but they said it takes 5 months, and I have already waited 6 months,What should I do now? Should I ask a lawyer or call USCIS ? Does anyone know what number should I call? Anyone can help me please?

what type/category of case is this?

if you think you are beyond normal processing time, you should contact uscis customer service center.

remember to request a case id number and follow-up with it. you can also schedule to talk to a officer by using the case id number at http://infopass.uscis.gov/

01/20/12 - I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox.

01/26/12 - NOA1 received and processing at Vermont.

06/28/12 - NOA2 announced on status check.

06/29/12 - NVC received case learned on 07/2/12.

06/30/12 - Hard copy NOA2 received.

07/09/12 - NVC Casefile Number and IIN Issued.

07/16/12 - Receive and Sent DS-3032 via email.

07/17/12 - Mailed DS-3032 via mail, AOS bill received via email, paid online, Optin email sent.

07/18/12 - Optin accepted and new case number, AOS marked paid, emailed AOS packet.

07/24/12 - Assigned as Agent, IV Fee bill received via email, paid online.

07/25/12 - IV Fee marked paid, emailed IV packet.

07/31/12 - Emailed GZO Supplemental Packet 3.

08/02/12 - Case completed and commenced final review.

08/03/12 - Shipped all copies of forms/letters/documents to my wife - arriving on 8/9/12.

08/06/12 - Case completed final review.

08/09/12 - Appointment letter received via email interview date set 9/6/12.

08/14/12 - Medical exam done.

08/15/12 - Medical exam results all normal.

09/06/12 - Submitted required documents at the embassy and interview set next day at 0730.

the vermont center is processing august 2011 i-130 (THEY ARE LATE) .. you should get something in the mail by the end of this month or early next month.

If your talking about the i130 then its still normal because my noa1 date is 8/22/11 and still no noa2 :(

If you like you can still call uscis which the number is 1800-375-5283

but they wont really do anything for you except tell you to wait, goodluck!

USCIS STAGE

8/22/2011: NOA1 EMAIL(never received a hardcopy nor txt)

3/23/2012: NOA2 EMAIL!!!! :D

3/28/2012: NOA2 HARDCOPY

NVC STAGE

4/09/2012: NVC Recieved

4/24/2012: Got NVC Case# and Invoice ID#

4/25/2012: Sent DS-3032 email and Paid AOS fee

4/26/2012: AOS fee showed "paid"

5/2/2012: Sent AOS Package and NVC accepted DS-3032 email

5/4/2012: Received and Paid IV fee

5/7/2012: Sent IV Package

5/14/2012: Case Complete at NVC!

6/6/2012: NVC Left!!

Beirut Lebanon Consulate

7/11/2012: Interview!!

Result: My husband is put in Administrative processing :(

8/17/2012: Embassy called my husband to bring the pasport for the visa!! :D

Where your case is being processed California or Vermont?
