Hello all,

I filed I485 along with I131 and I765 after got married in January (K-1 visa). I received the NOA1 on Feb 2nd indicating the receiving date of Jan30. I haven't received any communication regarding my biometrics from USCIS and the case has not been updated since then. I saw that many people got their biometrics appointments in 1-2 weeks after NOA1 and I am getting worried about my case. I wonder if there is any other VJ member that filed in January and has not received the biometrics appointment, yet.

Thanks

It depends on your local support center, it is less than 60 days so it is still okay. It is only 20 days for you. Good luck and be patient.

   I've noticed that people here in Arizona seem to get appointments rather quick, our office is less busy. And then I've seen people in other states wait a month or more for their appointment letter, they're offices are a lot busier.

Finally time for AOS.......

12/07/11 Sent AOS package

12/09/11 AOS package delivered

12/14/11 Received NOA for I-485 and I-765 (we're not applying for AP)

12/22/11 Received letter for Biometrics

01/04/12 Biometrics in Phoenix

01/31/12 Received email update from USCIS saying that we've been scheduled for an interview

02/03/12 Got an email saying card production had been ordered for my EAD...now just to wait for the card...

02/09/12 Received email saying EAD card has been sent

02/13/12 Received EAD card :D :D :D :D

03/06/12 Interview in Phoenix :).....Approved :D

03/14/12 Received Green card in mail.....

....no more USCIS until December 2013

Thanks guys, but I see some people from the same local office are getting the appointment letter much sooner and that worries me!

It took me almost 3 weeks to get the appointment letter. Glad I have 2 weeks to go for preparation from the schedule they provided.whistling.gif I am sure you'll get it!

It took over a month for me to get my Biometrics appointment letter. And it worried me seriously..so trust me I do know that it worries you as I have been through that. But if its not yet 30 days since you received your notice of action, you are ok. If its been over 30 days you should call USCIS and file a service request(SR). But, you'll be fine. No worries.
