Form I-134 question

The Form I-134 asks in question 7. If "I own real estate valued at:______With mortgage or other encumbrance thereon amounting to....." Is this question asking me if I own a home and for how much I bought it? (I hate the terms they use, they confuse you)

I filled out this form 2 weeks ago for my fiance. This is what I did:

"I own real estate valued at" (put the amount your house is worth)

"With mortgage..." (put how much mortgage you pay for your house, this amount depends on how much you pay every month or so to pay off your home).

If your income is adequate to meet the income quides then you don't need to put info about your home or banking if you choose not to.

If you need to use assets from your real estate you will need an appraisal to verify value... PFA value won't be adequate.

Example:

Home Value: $250,000

Mortgage remaining to be paid (minus payments already made and downpayment): $200,000

Personal Asset Value=$50,00

Thanks everybody! Do you send this info to your fiance? Do you send originals??? Like pay stubs, bank statements, etc?
