Hello everybody, my fiance is in Peru, we just started to do this, I sent the first package on 9/12/2006and got the reciept back on 9/22, we want to know,how soon we'll be getting the aproval and what is in those packages 3 and 4, somebody told me that she has to do some extra test done in a laboratory is it true? and finaly, does she has to get her passport six months in advance before her interview?

you will understand more. Once the case is approved (count on 3 months minimum to be safe) it will be sent to the national visa center and then to your consulate. They will issue the next packet and next steps. A medical exam will be necessary before the interview. Her passport needs to have at least 6 months left on it before they will issue the visa. Good luck.
