Birth Certificate?

Hey all,

Quick question. I went to get photo copies of everything made earlier. And I had read that they want you to send a copy of the front and the back of the birth certificate? Why is that? The back of mine has nothing on it. It's just looks like a grey colored piece of paper with a few black marks (where there are creases in my birth certificate) You can't see the seal on the other side?

You can just write "back of birth certificate" on the copy so that they can see there is nothing on it. You will have to show the original birth certificate at the interview anyways.

I believe she is the Petitioner from US. I never heard of your original birth certificate being required for the Beneficiaries interview. Your initial I-129f includes a copy of the Petitioners Birth Cedrtificate front & back, or Passport of all pages. Once approved this is forwarded to the Consulate of the Beneficiary. It is highly suggested the Petitioner send a complete copy of all contents of the original I-129f to the Benificiary to take to the interview.

Because not all birth certificates are like yours - some birth certificates do have something on the back side.
