How to pay for I-130?

I am getting everything ready for my husband's I -130, and I would like to know how to pay for it? I know the fee is $420. But can I use an American bank overseas? Or must it be from an American bank in USA?

Yes, you can use the American Bank overseas.

It can be a check or a money orderand it has to have American currency

Download a little document called I-130 Instructions, and you'll see the check must be drawn on a bank located in the USA. Careful study of these instructions will be found critical to your eventual success.

It's also critical to successfully advising others. I suggest you ignore any advice that is contradictory to the official instructions. I advise others who haven't yet carefully studied the instructions to refrain from advising others until they do.

I you don't have access to such an account, a friend or relative that does, can supply the check for you. Make sure to have them print I-130 Foreigner's Full Name in the memo or "for" field of the check, if you do.
