As i mentioned in a thread last week concerning my friend's financial status for their AOS.

UPDATE: They had their appointment today and it was a breeze. He said they waited for about 30 minutes then the interviewer only had 10 mins to perform the checks and interview. She only asked his wife (1) how they met (2) what her parents last names were (odd)... Then briefly checked their docs and told them congratulations.

Never asked for his tax returns or proof of income of which was his worry. Their AOS was in Tampa Florida.

The thread is this one: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/352020-aos-questions/

I'm sure your friend was fine because they had the friend/boss commit fraud and lie about his income. It can still come back to bite him AND the friend/boss who committed the fraud years from now.

It is my friend and not me talking in the 3rd person! I have yet to file our I129F as I am waiting for all my work and tax dox to "legitimately" show I am able to provide based on the guidelines. He made on paper 20k in 2011 so he is covered there and will make that this year or be homeless lol.....You're correct is they would happen to audit and he is not making 500 weekly then he and his employer will have a lot of explaining to do. This is why I don't do freelance sales. I would rather spend 10-11 hour days working and know what i am earning. He is at rock bottom as many.
