New Zealand Marriage Certificate valid in Pennsylvania?

Hi,

If my fiancée (US citizen living in the US) comes to New Zealand (where I live) and we get married here, is the New Zealand marriage certificate valid in her home state of Pennsylvania, or would we need to somehow register in Pennsylvania as well to get her named changed for all our paperwork to be valid, etc?

The US recognized marriages made abroad. She'll need to do nothing, and it'll be valid in the US.

Pennsylvania (PA) will recognize your New Zealand marriage certificate. There is no need to register the certificate or your marriage. PA will recognize that you and your wife are married.

It will be recognized. If she wants to change her name she'll need to take it to the Social Security office with her. She will need the original with her to make most changes...human resources at work, utilities, etc.
