My fiance and I are submitting our I-129F Wednesday. He is American, I'm Canadian. We are used to seeing a lot of each other. What are travelling/visiting restrictions on us now that the petition has been filed?

There is no restriction on him visiting you in Canada, though if you visit him in the USA, you may want to bring solid documentation of connection to Canada, such as a letter from employer.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I went back and forth for months after the intial filing always honest and had the papers at hand to show them I was doing it the right way. Never stopped for more than a couple mins. Just make sure you bring ties back to Canada Rent Lease, bills, work letter stating when you will return and so forth.

Feb. 15/ 07 --- GC approved

Nov. 17/09 -- I-751 sent (Day 1)
