hi all,

i know you've been talkin on here about the US citizen being responsible for their fiance / spouse, once they sign the Affidavit, and they would still be responsible even if their spouse have the Greencard....

my question was, is that written somewhere?? maybe on the USCIS site? about US citizen responsabilities...

ive been tryin to find info about that but nothin so far :( so maybe you can help me....maybe you know links to some official sites or something like that.

thank you very much.

Thank you very much John, but I already knew that….i wanted to find something about the US citizen being responsible more than in a financial way….responsible for my life, for example, my well being etc etc. if I do something bad, for ex. Is my husband responsible for me because he signed the affidavit….or he is responsible for me only financially???

Maybe someone can help me… :(

Thank you…. (F)

If you do something bad????????????

Parents are responsible for their children if they do something bad......you are not a child.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.
