Hi,

Hoping someone can help with the following. I sent off all my adjustment of status forms and fee etc to the drop box in Chicago in mid November.

No worries. I gave my biometrics in Miami in December

A week or so later I received a letter saying my case was transfered to California.

I received my EAD a week ago. Great stuff.

My question is, when my wife and I get called for interview, will we have to go to California or will the interview be in Miami? Also, does anyone have any rough indication about the time. I'm due to head home to Ireland in May as my sister is about to give birth.

Many thanks for your help as per usual.

F.

Getting transferred to CSC usually means you will not have an interview, they will review your petition and approve your green card without interviewing you.

However sometimes CSC does decide that you actually do need to be interviewed. If that happens it will be transferred to your local office first, and the interview will be conducted at your local office.

My wife's case was transferred to California. Then to to Fort Lee, Missouri. Still had an interview, which was local. Yours should be in Miami where you live.
