Greetings,

MY wife just received a mail ( letter ) from USCIS saying the case has been approved and was forwarded to NVC January 25th. the thing is when i check the website, i see that the case is still under" RFE response review" since january 19th plus i didn t receive any email. my last touch still remain the same " January 20th" should we be happy People?

Yeah, I don t understand how they work either, but I am approved, lol. Now Laure, when they receive the case, how many days it take them to assign a case number? After the case number assigned, wiLl they mail us a letter requesting documents or once we know we have a case number we can send them documents?

The timeframe varies a lot, for us it took 36 days to get a case number, but some people in the NVC thread got theirs in a little over a week recently! I think they're working faster now than they were in December.

Just start calling next week.

As soon as you get the case number, give them both your email addresses, then they will send requests and fee invoices to you.

I know a lot of members sent the Choice of Agent as soon as they got the case number, but I waited to receive the email requesting it. It just took one day!

CR1 Visa

Not with NVC, you can call them, no problem. I was the one who did the calling all the time, my husband talked to them twice maybe.
