I think the fact that you need to follow the directives on the red 221g far outweighs an error on the behalf of the CO.

Depending on the harsh treatment i received from her,iam 100% sure that she was out of her mind that morning,i wasn't given a chance to prove anything.

This whole process is both time and money consuming so am not going to ignore such fact just like they wouldn't ignore any loopholes on my petition.

This is not a common error, and the consular officer is supposed to be more keen than us the applicants

When people post they usually have in mind what they would like to do prior to the post. Not everyone is going to agree with you. The burden of proof lay with you and your petitioner and has nothing to do with the person interviewing you or their attitude. Decisions are actually made at the NVC level and the CO interviews are a formality.

You all can regroup and decide what to do next or you can waste energy staring at the red slip and cursing the CO.

It may be an error on the CO's part.

Regardless, you need to focus on what was written in terms of why you were denied. The error in the date written on the 221g does not make it any less important and will definitely not negate it.

Good luck.
