Case at NVC / Case Number Received

Good evening VJers,

So we have our NVC case number by talking to the operator. But when I called the NVC again to check the status by inputting our NVC case number, it says it has not received it (but I know NVC has it).

So the question is:

Should I wait for NVC to generate and send me an email/snail mail about the AOS and DS-3032, then send the DS-3032? Or,

Should I go ahead and jump the gun and send them the DS-3032 email with the case number given (without any AOS or DS-3032 notification)?

We are now at the Embassy and i only JUST like 2 days ago recieved my choice of agent and adress form in the mail. Im not sure if anyone else has had this issue with the NVC or not? but from my experience i wouldnt put my faith in snail mail.

They emailed everything to myself and my husband very quickly.

We waited for them to contact us and they sent us 2 emails, one adressed to me and one to my husband, the first one contained my Choice of Agent form which i sent off via email. We then waited for them to generate the Fees and paid them (then we got an approved expedite so im afraid im not much use after that)

I dont think it would do too much harm in sending the paperwork since you already have a case number, but im one of those people that worrys too much and wouldnt send anything off untill they had told us it was needed lol If in dout, you could always call and ask the NVC

Since you have the case number, go ahead and send the DS-3032 email.

I say wait till the petitioner has received the AOS fee bill via email.

When you got the Casefile # with that telephone call, was there any intake on email addresses, or no?

Regardless, call back on Monday (The USCitizen Petitioner) and ask for an AOS FEE BILL to be emailed out.

ONCE that AOS FEE BILL is in yer email box,

NVC's internal switch is turned on - so then it's SAFE to send off the DS-3032 email thingie.

Prior? NVC is not listening for it, electronically - the switch isn't on, yet.
