Hi,

after Ifile for a I-751 waiver based on divorce, how/when will I receive my green card extension?

Also, could biometrics appointments be rescheduled? It may happen I will be abroad for work/travel and could need to postpone them.

You'll get your NOA1 which will extend your GC a year while they are processing your case.

You can reschedule biometrics if you must but you'd have to make sure not to miss the notice. If you just do not show up your case will be denied. Rescheduling will also slow down your case.

can I do a walk-in biometrics? Also, what if I am asked for an interview while I am abroad? To complicate things, once back to the US I will move to a new address to start a new job.

You can attempt a biometrics walk in. Some offices allow it, some do not. If you are abroad when an interview is scheduled you'll need to return for the interview.
