So I sent the letter from the employer and It never got to my fiancee, I was thinking if I could ask for it again and scan it and send it to him through an email. Would it need to be the original or will this be ok! Thanks in advance

I sent a scanned copy from my fiancee with the affidavit and it was accepted. That said, this was at the consulate in Australia and it could possibly vary from country to country. Maybe scan it to speed things along, but then also mail the original just in case it is requested later?

I'm a bit hesitant to make my advice sound TOO authoritative, since my experience might not be universal.

It should be the original. You could try sending a scanned copy and have him print it out a tad darker so it doesn't look like an obvious copy. BUT, try and send anything he needs for the interview with signatures as originals. I know it costs a bit, but I sent everything to my husband overnight or 1 or 2 day express mail just to make sure he would receive it. The regular mail in Mexico is slow and unreliable. It may show up a month later, or not ever.

Yeah I sent it a week ago to him and he still hasn't received anything. His interview is next week, everything else will be original just that one document can't get to him on time :( Thanks again for the help!
