Finally!! From the NVC to the Embassy!!

Quick up date.

My fiance got the packet yesterday!!

It took a total of 4 business days from the time it left the NVC to the time my fiance got the packet.

What packet? I thought NVC sends the packet to the US Consulate in your beneficiary's country. What packet does your beneficiary receive from NVC directly? This is news to me. I thought only the US Consulate/Embassy would send any packets to the beneficiary.

I am certain what was meant was that it took a total of of 4 days for the file from the NVC to get to the embassy and then for the embassy in turn, to send out packet 3 to the beneficiary.

The packet was from the embassy.

6-8-2006 - Sent I-129f form

6-12-2006 - Received I-797, NOA1

7-11-2006 - Received IMBRA RFE

7-27-2006 - IMBRA RFE approved

7-28-2006 - Touched

9-5-2006 - Touched (86 days since NOA1)

9-8-2006 - Received I-797C, NOA2 Approved!! (89 days since NOA1)

9-29-2006 - NVC to Embassy (110 days since NOA1)

10-3-2006 - Received Packet 3

11-13-2006 - Interview date (Passed!!)

11-28-2006 - Fiance coming to US!!

Quick up date.

After the embassy recieves the petition, the packet 3 is mailed to the beneficiary. That is GREAT news though kzupra! That gives me great hope! Congratulations!!!! I pray that Trinidad is as fast! Good luck with the rest, and please do keep us all posted! All the best and God Bless.

9-15: I-129F NOA2 FINALLY!!! Thanks be to you lord!

9-19: NOA2 by postmarked in snail mail (rcvd' around the 22nd)

10-12: Received e-mail from the NVC stating they recently forwarded our petition to the consulate! =)

10-17: Consulate received petition from NVC and mailed out packet 3 & 4

10-25: Johann collects Packet 3 & 4 from embassy!

10-27: Return information to the embassy!

11-7: Received Packet 4

11-28: INTERVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE DID IT~ APPROVED

12-1: Visa Picked up from Embassy

12-23: Johann is coming to the STATES! Yay!

3-17: It's a GREEN Wedding!!!

I have been very fortunately. But now that the ball is in our court I can't believe my lawyer is lagging so much to turn in the packet 3!

Hi I'm just wondering I sent an email to the NVC and didn't get a case number like you said you did is there a specific way to ask about this my petition is at the NVC i received the NOA2 September 29th and they told me they couldn't send things like this in emails. can you help about how to send email to them and ask if they have a case number or have received it yet. Thank You
