Just wanna get infos from anyone who may have idea/s - especially those who live here in southern Florida.Just wanna ask how you send balikbayan box and which reliable and not crazy expensive shipping company is around here to use in shipping balikbayan box to the Philippines. = Thank you everyone!

It is a flat rate. Stuff as much as you can in to those Balikbayan Box. Just make sure to protect or wrap up anything of importance. As these boxes are placed on ships and let's say they are not handle with kid gloves..

ok...do you have any idea how long it take them to deliver it to the Philippines ( specially in the Visayas area ) I didn't / can't find the rates for the forex..do you know their rates? - sorry for the piling questions

We use LBC throught the local sari sari store. the price is $89 for the jumbo box that my wife stuffs at least 250 lbs in. After shipping you can go on line to the LBC website, and track the progress of your shipment. We live in Georgia and our boxes always go out of Jacksonville Florida. It usually takes about 4 - 6 weeks to arrive in Manila.

We used Forex and it took 5.5 months to reach mindano. They had plenty of excuses, but still took that long. They initially told us it would be at the most 90 days.
