How do you chose Which Service Center to use for K-1 Visa application

My situation is unique. I am a travel nurse currently on assignment in California until April and will extend my contract for another 3-6 months after that. I plan on staying/working in the Los Angeles area for the next 2 yrs on contract. My permanent resident, however, is in Louisiana. My fiance and I will be be applying for K-1 visa soon and I don't know which service center I should chose for the application process. Could someone help me with this? Also not sure if I send I-134 affidavit with the petition packet to USCIC or do I send it to to fiance for embassy interviewthank you!

from what I understand the address you put down on the I129 form is the address used to send you your notices and also the UCSIS centre. So if you have the CA address listed I think it will go to CSC. The I-134 form gets sent into the embassy not USCIS. Yes, you send it to your Fiance. He will need to check and see what the guidelines are for his embassy and whether they want it prior to or during the interview.

Received Green Card 6th October. No Interview. Amazing!

Which service center it goes to will depend on the return address you place on the paperwork. Everything gets sorted in texas then either sent to CSC or VSC

USCIS

29 DEC 2011: I-129F sent

12 JAN 2012: NOA1 via E-mail

17 JAN 2012: Mil. Expedite Request Sent to CSC

19 JAN 2012: NOA1 Hard Copy

25 JAN 2012: Call USCIS to ask if file is at CSC yet, was informed of an email requesting documents that I never received

25 JAN 2012: Response for 'Typographical Error' in the email from the 20th(no wonder I didnt get it)

25 JAN 2012: Documents requested sent back to Case Officer

30 JAN 2012: NOA2 Hard Copy Via Snail Mail

NVC

30 JAN 2012: I-129F Packet Arrives

31 JAN 2012: Case forwarded to Embassy

Embassy

03 FEB 2012: Signed for at USEM

23 FEB 2012: Packet 3 arrives

28 FEB 2012: Packet 3 sent

Thank you so much for you fast response. I really have so many questions about the process. I am following the guidelines on this site but still I get a little confused about what we need. I don't want to mess anything up and have to wait due to RFE's. So, I won't have to send any affidavit of support to USCIS? Do I just wait until asked from NVC and forward a copy to my fiance ahead of time?

We should be filing in the next couple of weeks so wish us luck.

You don't choose a service center. One will be chosen for you when it is received and sorted in Texas. The guides are very helpful but be sure to also read the instructions for the I-129F. They also tell you what is needed to send in with the form, the fee and what address to mail it to: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf
