Your reply comes off as if my reply offended you or something. I simply gave you a complete answer. Since another VJer called photos "Primary Evidence" felt it appropriate to make the distinction for you and anyone else who may read this tread later.

Regarding the "easy" interviews in Manila, they seem to be the rule as long as you have everything in order.

The Filipino's NBI & NSO documents are probably the most important thing for the interview. Next is having evidence of ongoing relationship. These are both things that come into play at the interview.

So I'll say it again, unless there's something seriously off about your case there really is no need for a ton of evidence and for the interview your sweetie will only need a fraction of what you've listed.

Nope, not offended. I was just trying to point out that the thread topic is about using composited photos. I even posted a diagram of the technique I was talking about. I'm trying to get input from folks who actually used that technology/methodology/technique in their K1 process instead of using some 1950s 35mm film camera and take it to the store for development old school thing. Your reply didn't address the primary topic, but instead went off on a tangent about faking pictures and also added a bunch of stuff I didn't ask about, like what my fiance needs on her end. No problem. Thanks again for the reply.

May your visa journey be smooth and speedy.

To answer your original post I also used composited pictures. I used 2 photos per page (standard white copy paper), 3 pages, each page represented one year of our relationship, with one picture in China and one in the US per page.

I've read quite a bit in the Philippines forums and it seems to be a mixed bag with regard to front-loading. Some submitted an encyclopedia while others sent minimal stuff, each with success. And others had problems, both heavy and light submitters. It all seems to literally boil down to a case by case basis at the embassy interview.

One of the pix actually is my fiance and I standing in front of city hall. I don't have any phone records, although I might be able to scrounge up a few. We tried a bunch of times to talk on the phone, but her reception is extremely poor. Never did manage more than about 5 minutes as the longest call. In addition, I've printed out a number of representative emails and screen snaps from Yahoo Messenger conversations as part of the evidence. Maybe I should beef those up, since they're our primary contact method. Of course, I have 15 pages of receipts comprising 50 items from my trip, with boarding passes, etc. included as part of the package. My dad used to say..."if some is good, more is better and too much is just right!"

As for organizing... right now I have the evidence subdivided into labeled manila clasp envelopes, which I was planning on tying together once I have it all compiled, then putting everything into the shipping envelope.

I sent a total of 8 pics and 12 pages of chat from beginning mid and most recent to date and had no problems.YMMV

@Operator & BobnCherry... Thanks! Great stuff. I'm glad that the technique worked for you folks!

I guess maybe I should winnow down my pix for submission even further. I started out with 242 photos and 261 videos and got down to "just" 20 pix for the initial submission...

Of course, my fiance will take a big pile of stuff with her to the interview, including many composited pix, when the time comes.

May your visa journey be smooth and speedy.

I did the same as you with regards to the pics, 4 to a page with dates, who was in the pics, and where we were. Though I'm still playing the waiting game so time will tell! We lived together here in America for a year before his J1 ran out and we started this process, so we have a TON of pics, I probably sent ~28. I'll let you know if I hear anything!!

I guess you missed this part of my reply in post #5 above... "I have 15 pages of receipts comprising 50 items from my trip, with boarding passes, etc. included as part of the package."

I have all the so-called primary stuff covered. Those 15 pages are in addition to the photos.

As for faking.. heck, anything can be faked if a person has the right skillset.

Yes, I do have some unusual stuff with my case. Am not sure if front-loading will help, but from what I've read, it really doesn't hurt either. I've read quite a few cases on here where no evidence was examined at the interview at all. However, I can't say if it's because those cases were front-loaded or if it was completely arbitrary.

Bob 4 Anna gave you great advice. You are way overthiking the photo issue. Photos are secondary evidence and really not that important. Frontloading is generally a waste of effort for Manila. Do what is necessary to get your petition approved.

I attended my fiance's interview and they did not ask for one piece of evidence of relationhsip. Of course you have to have it ready but having good evidence (quality) is more important than quantity.

Oh good grief. I didn't discount Bob's advice. I know that he has contacts and inside info about the overall process. But that's irrelevant to the question I posted.

And saying that front-loading is a waste of effort without having concrete evidence to support your position is disingenuous. Your fiance may have been approved without showing proof of relationship because you were there. There is no cause and effect correlation that not requiring to see photos at the interview was due to anything related to evidence presented beforehand or your appearance. If, on the other hand, an individual is not present at the interview, will photos and other evidence be checked? Possibly. As I said earlier, it seems to go literally on a case by case basis.

But, I've received replies that directly answer my question, so we can let this thread die quietly.

Please forgive me for going off-topic, but doesn't showing up with your fiance demonstrate an incredible amount of evidence of the relationship?

As pix, I printed 3 on one page and 4 on another with the details handwritten on the backs of each as per the instructions that were sent to me (this was for my RFE). For the travel documents, I included a paperclipped snapshot of us in that location to copy of the tickets. Again, I handwrote the info on the back. There were two of these.

Apparently, this was sufficient for the photos, but we haven't been through the interview process, yet.

Everything I sent in, both with the original application and then with the RFE, easily fit into a single mailing envelope.
