Ok very frustrating but I called nvc to see if they received our petition and they received it on 4 Jan 2012 and they also verified email addresses and then told me that it was in a administrative processing and couldnt give me a time frame on this. Please anyone and everyone what exactly does this mean and why are they doing all this processing when it has already been approved by Immigration services? How long is this process? Thank you for your help in this matter...So close now for my fiance to come so anxious and eager to get her here.

I recently got out of AP at NVC. I was in AP for 3 weeks. Every time I called NVC I was told it was going to additional processe and there is no time frame. To this day I still dont know why my case was picked or wat happens during this process byt it delayed my case by 3 weeks...hope u get out of AP soon.

For the K1 petitions they have to grab a certain percent of them and put them in AP for NO reasons. The file is good but they just randomly pull a file and look at it extra close. So you got the short straw that day.

Are you going to be deployed? Are you currently deployed? I hope not but I am thinking of expedite reasons.
