joint sponsors can be friends, neighbors, coworkers, anyone who is a USC or LPR and qualifies. and they don't have to live in the same city or state.

or get a second job, does he have any assets?

if not, he'll have to wait until he can or move to Egypt.

Does he go to Mosque? Can they assist him? Sometimes church will help out their members. I am not positive about the mosques though. I hope he finds a joint sponser and can bring his family here soon.

Angie,

Are you both in USA now? Did you have your interview? You have not completed your timeline yet? When you get a few minutes can you edit your timeline so others can see how long each step takes?

Thank you

In order for him to sponsor his wife and his child.....

Is he an american citizen?

Is the child a us citizen?

Does the child have an egyptian and american passport?

If he has to sponsor both he needs to make about 23,000 a year-i think

Or he can have assets that are worth 69,000

Or he can have savings of 69,000

does he have a 401K? Retirement accounts?

He can have another person-friend-relative from USA sponsor them

They have to make enough to sponsor his wife and child and their own family.

Or the joint sponsor can have savings of 5 times 23,000

Or the joint sponsor can have assets of 5 times 23,000

I hope this is the answers he was looking for.
