Husband came back from the mailbox today.

He: Guess what I got?

Me: A yellow letter??

He: How did you know?

Me: I'm psychic.

I made a good guess since others have started getting them. We got a reminder to bring the original documents of the termination of previous marriages. Photocopies were included with the application. Not eligible until March 23 but I guess somebody has picked up the folder. I don't know if status has changed. I don't look unless a text or email comes.

that makes sense as I feel as though the military naturalization process is a bit different in terms of filling location, how interviews are scheduled, and probably the speed in which they get completed.

I don't recall being too nervous or stressed about ROC, but I was glad to get my 10 year GC in hand and know that I didn't have to deal with the USCIS for 10 more years if I didn't want to (man, how tempting...!). Finally decided this January that I was ready to hop back on the USCIS train for one final journey, so to speak :P. To continue the bad analogy, hopefully within a few months I will never have to travel USCIS Rail again. :rofl:

Actually, I was pretty relaxed during ROC. Not only did I, then, too, basically "bomb" them with evidence (easily 2lbs of paperwork,lol ) but I was also 6 months pregnant with our first child when I filed - and I made sure to mention that in my cover letter, too, in case there was ANY doubt on their part :rofl: And when the GC arrived, I was too busy figuring out how to take care of a newborn AND manage to shower once a day, so it was only a "oh, the GC arrived. Nice. Now back to this diaper" :rofl:
