I know there are sticky posts on this and I've even posted before but...

I filed I864s for my spouse and kids. I got a response for my wife's that I need to prove domicile. (My kids just needed to do I864Ws as I'm a USC) This despite including the copy of my offer letter of employment which begins in Jan. Without having a lease, bank account etc is there any way to take advantage of the time I have before moving there to prove domicile and keep the process moving? Otherwise, the process stalls and I can't prove domicile until I'm actually there which isn't for almost a month from now. This entire month would go down the drain rather than reducing the time I will have to spend apart from my family.

Thanks in advance.

You need the main proof which is actually having a job, and home/apartment in the USA. Having a job letter isn't good enough and there isn't much else you can use to prove real intent to satisfy the embassy beyond leaving and moving to the USA. providing paystubs/ letter from working the job and rental/lease/mortgage papers for a home in the USA etc.

of the list of things i read.

Intent to arrive in the usa at the same time as your family member.

Intent to be in the USA no latter then the time your family member arrives.

If you have a lease or whatever of the sort that looks good too.

( an idea ) give someone you know your power of attorney and have them rent something in your name. get that on paper will look good.

some stuff that helps is A current US Drivers license with the same address as you put on the intended living address.

if you still have current utility bills. ( i still have the Electric bill in my name at my legal us address has been in my name for almost 7 years )

write out a letter saying something like. i ) name) will be arriving at ( or before ) my Family member we will be staying at )))address))) when we arrive i have chosen to say with my family member to have no time appart to minimize stress etc etc etc add whatever you want about 1-2 paragraph and sign it and have 2 witness sign it.
