Hello everyone,

My wifes petition was approved on the 5th of dec. and i have been calling everyday at NVC to see if it got there so that i can Pay the AOS fee and have my wife email the choice of agent authorisation to them.

I emailed NVC on thursday and got a response that the petition finally got to them on Friday .

My question is

1. How long does it take for NVC to generate the case number and

2. Can i send in the choice of agent authorisation to NVC NOW .Or wait till the NVC case number and IIN number is generated

I am waiting

Call and select to speak with an agent so that you can get clarification on what "received" means. If it means it has been entered into their system, then the agent can igve you your case number and IIN...until then DO NOT send anything to them as they will not have a number to connect it to.

Once you get the details giv ethem your email and your wife's email, the very next second email the DS 3032 to them .

Call them everyday until it's in the system...be sure to give the operator both yours and the beneficary email addresses this way NVC can email things to you.

Citizenship next step!
