Preparing for Interview

Hello, I've been lurking here for 6 months and we have finally made it to the interview step! It feels great, but the more I read about it the more concerned I get about what to send.

First of all, will I need to physically send her anything or can she just print copies that I have scanned into the computer?

Shouldn't the embassy already have our marriage certificate, her birth certificate and police records, the i-130, etc. Will we need to collect everything and fill out the forms again or should she just bring in the printed copies I email her?

I won't lie, a good portion of our emails get a little rated R. Do we include all of these uncensored and just show it to the embassy? I believe I have read here that censoring is frowned upon.

She is from Argentina, so the interview is in Buenos Aires. We have looked over what they require and it appears to be all the same documents we have submitted to the NVC.

Does anyone have an estimate on the cost? Can I pay from the US or will I need to wire her the money?

Lastly, any good ways to send all her belongings here once she is approved?! I don't see that it is possible for her to bring more than roughly 200 lbs of her stuff, packed into three pieces of luggage.

Please help us not overlook anything!

She needs to bring those documents even if the NVC has the copies of those mentioned above.

Interview Forms / Items:

1. Valid Passport.

2. Original or certified "long" birth certificate. *

3. Original adoption decree. (if applicable)

4. Original or certified copy of the marriage certificate. (if applicable)

5. Original death certificate. (if applicable)

6. Original divorce decree. (if applicable)

7. Police certificate. **

8. Court record(s) (if applicable).

9. I-864 Affidavit of Support Form along with past 3 year U.S tax returns (or transcripts) and any other financial documents required. (see poverty limits here)

10. Court and prison records.(if applicable)

11. Medical examination information

12. Two passport-type photos (see specification) of the spouse or benefitiary

All fees related to the visa itself will have been paid to the NVC. Depending how passports are returned, a courier charge may apply, you need a Buenos Aires specific answer in this regard.
