I got email like following:

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

On September 25, 2006, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or advice from USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please contact the National Customer Service Center.

Is that an RFE? It is different as other's email notification about RFE. (I used old form, still no RFE)

Alice

The way it is worded dose not sound like an RFE, just an acknowledgment to a request for case status made by you. The Usual give us another 30 days before requesting info again. The thing about time frame has to do with the reported processing times reported on the USCIS CSC web page which shows processing cases from Mar 20 and before. Your NOA1 is May 1 so they mean by time frame is when their processing time reported on their site is past the file date on your NOA1 then contact them.

If they send are going to send you an RFE, the email indicates clearly that they are sending you an RFE.

Did you call and make an inquiry into your case status? If so, this is an acknowledgement of that call.

Um, NO that's not about an RFE. If it was, it would say

"On XXX, 2006, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 30 days have passed and you have not received the notice please contact the service center where you submitted your application during business hours."
