hmmm.. never seen this one before. That's really what it says in its entirety?

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

"the document we made" is the phrase that's confusing....

Really, no idea. Sorry.

This was a common email for a while when IMBRA RFEs were first returned. Too bad they can't write complete, coherent sentences! Bottom line, it means nothing more than they received your RFE response. For some people, approval came shortly after receiving it - for others, nothing for months.

the thing is, is that they sent me an email saying that they were mailing me the RFE on Sept. 13, but i never received anything. However, 3 weeks ago I sent them an updated I29 application. So maybe they are satisfied with that and just didnt mail me the RFE???

I dont know Im confused. this process sux

The plot thickens. If they sent you an email saying they were sending the RFE on Sept. 13 it's not at all surprising that you haven't received it. It took 14 days for me to get mine. Receipt of your updated I-129 application is probably what the email was in response to.

Generally speaking, it's never a good idea to send updated information when it has not been specifically requested in an RFE. It only confuses the situation further. Others who tried this had the complete second package returned -which was actually the best possible outcome. (Search the IMBRA forum, especially for Mr. Lonely's experience).

Wait for the RFE to arrive, and then send back only the requested information.

So all this means is they received the updated I29 that they received 3 weeks ago?

Really there is no need to worry. This totally confusing and strange email was received by many people during the IMBRA RFE process and truly it had zero meaning. Don't stress about it, it's not worth it!
