NOA1 of 12/05/11 at CSC... wishing I was going through somewhere like Spain so it could get approved in a week instead of 7 months.

I wonder, why is it? Was it expedite or does the US simply desire Europeans over Central Americans?

I am not sure if that's true. But I have seen I-130 filers for their spouses in UK and have to wait for 5+ months.

There's no significant difference in processing times between European countries and anywhere else.

If you've seen European petitions get approved in 2 Weeks it's likely because the petitioner has been living in the beneficiary's country for an extended period of time.

They expedite those now.

Yes I seen this...Norway blew us out of the water!!!!

It is most likely, (after being based on each case is individual and they had no RFEs) that Norway is not considered a high fraud country.

and Please see that Igor's Timeline is entertaining to watch but not even close to exact estimates!!! Remember, there are thousands n thousands of petitioners in USCIS that are not on VJ!....

AND...some dont fill in their timelines :blush: like the the person that kindly started this DEC filer thread (hint hint) so....it is just a very general guideline to watch your timelines on here.

I am #338 today but could be back to #350 tomorrow. :blink:

You filed for naturalization pending? or CR1? Not really caring but...it does affect the estimates of the CR1 timeline if it is a mistake...
