NOA2 hard copy and no Alien #

Hello, everyone!

We had our K1 visa petition approved from USCIS on Nov 16, 2011. After my fiance got the NOA2 hard copy, we realized there was no Alien# on it.

From what I saw on the NOA2 example from Visa Journey gallery, there should be an Alien# next to my name (the beneficiary). Do you guys think it is something we should worry about and contact USCIS?

Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The Forms have changed. Even so. Don't wory about it.

Look at you NOA1. Then Look at your NOA2. Notice above the Benificiaries Name: A Number. Thats just a number.

DONT WORRY ABOUT IT.

Thank you :) I have read some posts here on VJ they usually write it on the visa stamp and on the I-94 form at the POE. Hopefully it will work for me.

There is No Alien # Yet. The Original 129-F at the bottom of the right page asked. The Answer is None. The NOA2 will not indicate a Alien #. They don't have a Alien Number Yet.

There is No Alien # Yet. The Original 129-F at the bottom of the right page asked. The Answer is None. The NOA2 will not indicate a Alien #. They don't have a Alien Number Yet.

When the petition is approved you get an alien number. My alien number has been the same number on my NOA 2 and my Visa.

edit to add - it is the same A# used on my AOS filing and on my green card and on my ROC filing and in contacting USCIS about my case status for ROC.

Don't know how much the forms have changed since 2008.When I got my K1 Visa apporovel notice, I had the A# on there.When you will get your visa in your passport it should have the A# on it too.At least I had it,but that was 3 years ago,I don't know how much things have changed since.Not too helpful huh??? :) Sorry,hope everything goes well,and you will get your A#! Thanks a lot for the good luck wishes. Any word of encouragement helps a lot :thumbs: And I think things haven't changed much, I heard they still do the same. I was kind of worried my noa2 doens't have the A# on it but I think it is not a big deal. :blush:
