I'm sure many have asked this before, but I finally have a notice an RFE was sent. Is you call the CSC unhelpful service line, do they have any information on what the RFE is requesting?? Thanks for any help you can give me. This process has made me crazier than I was before I started. The unknown is unbearable.

You'll probably just be better off waiting for the notice in the mail.

The good news is, in a lot of cases on here you'll see that shortly after applicants fulfill the requirements of the RFE they are approved. So it might be a sign that you are nearing the approval. I certainly hope so!

Did you file with the old form or the new form? If you use the form before the IMBRA questions were added, it is likely your RFE is simply the new IMBRA supplement. I looked at your timeline, but can;t remember if hte new form was available when you mailed it.

When I filed the packet, I filed the old form, the thing was that I filled it out in the week it was changed, the day after I submitted the packet, I saw there was a new form so I re-filled it out and sent it with a letter. My service center was Nebraska but transferred to CSC. So I'm thinking it may be the IMBRA thing and that's what I wanted to find out. Just wondering if I could call and find anything out. I just got the posting today on USCIS that they sent me an RFE.

Even if you called CSC, talked to a live person and they explained to you the RFE, you still need to wait for it to arrive in the mail. Why? When you return it, that BLUE sheet of paper will need to be on top of the documents/evidence that you return. So just wait for it in the mail!
