Question: why my NOA says I gonna schedule for interview??????? :wacko:

I filed my citizenship app on Dec 15, and since I'm a Florida girl it got mailed to Texas.

Guys I got my NOA today!! No fingerprint!!! Yayyyyyy!schedule for interview!!!!!

I got mine this past Friday the 16th, and it said that I will be scheduled for an interview upon receiving all the record checks, is that means I dont have to go for fingerprints? Or is there a seperate letter that comes for the fingerprints date?

Hi all. Hope to be joining the December filers later this week.

This application process seems like the least complicated thus far. Am I reading this correctly that all we need, given that we've had no incidents with the law, are the completed N-400 application + $680 check, copy of PR card, copy of spouse's passport, marriage certificate + translation, and tax transcripts? All of the other applications required so much evidence and paperwork that this feels...strange.

Off to get the passport photos tomorrow and then getting this envelope in the mail!

2007-11-10.....Marriage in Ecuador

2008-01-11.....I-130 Sent

2008-04-28.....I-130 Approved

2008-05-02.....NVC Received

2008-08-20.....Case Complete at NVC

2008-10-14.....Interview--221g, asked to present joint sponsor inspite of NVC approval

2008-11-07.....Visa due to arrive. DHL truck delivering visa was robbed, Consulate required us to present I-864s and DS-230 again, had to get a new passport and other related documents

2008-11-14.....Presented all new documents in person at Consulate, visa printed same day

2008-11-25.....POE Atlanta

2008-12-26.....Green Card and 2nd Welcome Letter arrive

2010-09-02.....Date of NOA ROC 1-751

2010-12-13.....Approval of ROC

Ok. So I finally figured out why I didn't hear back from USCIS. Checked my mail on monday and got a letter stating my application was REJECTED because of the following reason:

The Check amount is incorrect, or has not been provided.

Mind you, I am using an attorney. So I go see the paralegal who submitted my application to verify the amount I wrote on the check. It was the correct amount ($680). Which only means one thing: My check wasn't included in the package and either USCIS lost my check or the paralegal forgot to include it in my package. They will be sending my application package back to my attorney, so I will have to resubmit. This really ticks me off. But things could be worse.

What a pain but you seem to have the right attitude. At least you know what the hold up was now and there isn't a deadline you are trying to beat.

Hopefully you can get it figured out and sent off again right away. When you have the packet in your hand I would make sure to cancel the old check.

Ok guys 1st I am not he I am she, 2nd I didn't insist to any thing!!!! 3rd I am going to do my walk in fingerprint tomorrow !!!! :)
