When submitting police certificate to NVC as part of packet 3, how recent should it be?

We have obtained a police certificate on April 11, 2011.

If I were to send to NVC the police certificate I have as part of packet 3 before April 11, 2012. Would I NOT need to get a new police certificate since it's still valid within a year?

You are getting a good one! LOL dancin5hr.gif

for guz iv, a year from issuance date to interview date.

imo, send what you have now, then get another one right after you have the appointment date set.

HEY - if yer finally at NVC - did you know? you can do EP - must to OPT IN, though.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

they raised the query regarding this in my interview that i my passport police clearance certificate was issued on dec 2010 and my interview was schedule on nov 2011 and my passport police certificate was expiring on 7 dec 2011 lady at window warn me about this that they will put my visa on hold if visa officer dont agree on this and dough that there will be some case pending after i was issued this certificate so there is chances of that but i was lucky and visa officer approved my visa but my advice why to take chances get the latest passport police clearnce certificate they dont give that importance to local police clearance certificate of local police stations
