I really don't like the USCIS; it always generates this type of problems to people. Just called your local congress person. I have read in lot of past forum here, that any many instances they have put massive pressure on USCIS officials. The USCIS really this likes when someone those this though.

I do understand. Maybe see an immigration lawyer then (seeing you've got a lot of time) for a free consultation. Hopefully they'll have a solution on how to get her to enter. I REALLY hope so for your sake.

I just had a thought.. is it a Notice of Intent to Deny or an ACTUAL denial? If it's just a NOID her card should still be active and she can enter. in which case i would do so tomorrow.

I'm seeing a lawyer monday because I think we're nearing, if not exceeded the 30 days now. We made the mistake of waiting 15 days for this "service request" that the USCIS customer service

lady said might help. Screwed us up royally, moreso. The letter is a full denial and her residential status is voided completely. I spoke to a lawyer over the phone (same one I'll meet with

monday) and she didn't sound at all optimistic. This might be a nightmare situation that we can't wake up from. My wife is still in Mexico with no way back.

Update; I couldn't go to a lawyer because we simply can't afford it. Of course my wife is still in Mexico and today, I have an INFOPASS appointment. I'm paranoid because I made the appointment for my wife under HER name and alien ID, etc, expecting that they would speak to me -- as I'll show up without her with our marriage license. Am I going to be turned away??? I made an alternative appointment for friday in case I do get turned away. Should I still go today? Or will it be a waste of my time??

Go and see what happens, worst they could do is tell you to go home they wont see you. Then you just return on your next appointment.

I USCIS and was specifically told I would be turned away from their office of the appointment was made for my wife and not I. I had to cancel it. I'll be going Friday. These people can be such... condescending jerks. They just don't speak in a pleasant manner.
