Hey everyone! I passed my test on Tuesday but got my oath delayed for a week. The officer I talked to when scheduling my interview said that I can do test and oath the same day so I was excited but in the end I got a paper stating please come back in the week for oath. I think thats because I relocated to a different state after filing the application since IO asked me a lot of questions such as when did you leave the old state, where do you currently work, when did you start there and such. Hopefully they won't tell me to come back another day next tuesday;)

05/03/2008 call to USCIS because NOA1 not received ;( Got the receipt number and was told that we cannot get replacement NOA1.

08/21/2008 request for NOA1 for I-130 to file AOS placed over the phone and forwarded to VSC. Thanks to the first great Rep at USCIS hotline

10/17/2008 Hubby`s B-day, NOA1 for I-130 finally arrives!

10/21/2008 AOS sent to Chicago lockbox

10/31/2008 NOAs for AOS received

11/06/2008 I-130 is transferred to CSC

11/20/2008 biometrics done

12/02/2008 I-130 APPROVED!!!

01/02/2009 EAD received

02/12/2009 Interview APPROVED!!!

Rakosik, congrats on passing your interview! We're still going head to head, my oath is also scheduled for May 7 at Islip.

Could someone please update my timeline.

The interview at Holsville took 5 minutes. It was very easy. The officer didn't ask to see any documents except IDs and passports. After a half hour wait, they produced the oath letter.

Thanks, congrats to you too, it feels great to have the interview behind me finally. Now just last one step, can't wait!!!

I had the same experience, my wait was about 45 minutes and a lot of people who came in after me were called in so I got a little woried that the lost my file but finally my name was called out. All took 5 minutes, didn't need to show anything, very pleasant IO, I have never imagined it will be soo easy (I wish i didn't stress sooo much) I'll see you on the

7th in Islip court. Yupppiii!!!!

My case is getting put back for fingerprint :crying::crying:

On April 26, 2012, we mailed you an appointment notice to have your fingerprints taken. Please follow the instructions on the notice. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Hey everyone! I passed my test on Tuesday but got my oath delayed for a week. The officer I talked to when scheduling my interview said that I can do test and oath the same day so I was excited but in the end I got a paper stating please come back in the week for oath. I think thats because I relocated to a different state after filing the application since IO asked me a lot of questions such as when did you leave the old state, where do you currently work, when did you start there and such. Hopefully they won't tell me to come back another day next tuesday;)

Is the Fairfax VA as back logged and/or slow as depicted by other people's experience?

My case is getting put back for fingerprint :crying::crying:

SAD NEWS FOR ME :( My interview was cancelled today. The office told me that my file didnt make in the overnight shipment. I am so sad.... sad....sad.... He told me that the file might be in this week but they will let me know of the new interview date. I'll keep waiting forever and ever.
