i called nvc and the person name ed told me the the line is too short for the interview so he made my day finally so i will get my pretty soon please god please help me it should be done and over with in december thanks god

Hang in there Nov. 11th is the last day they will schedule dates for Dec. You still have plenty of time.

Wooo just got interview for Dec 1st. Case complete 24th of Oct. That was wayy quicker than I thought.

Im confused about what to bring.

1) Where do i get pictures exactly 5cm by 5cm. Pass port size in the UK is not this size- slightly wider on the sides?

2) Do I need the originals of documents or are copies ok to take? sent originals to NVC.

Yes, the candidates that got interview dates in December have the Bandra address in their interview letters - the VFS address remained the same.

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC

I don't know how it is in the U.K. but here in Norway I just went to the local photo store and asked for international passport photos. They charged me more than enough for it, but at least they turned out right :)

I believe the NVC sends the originals directly to the embassy and they give them back to you after the interview. So you don't have to bring new originals if you already sent them to the NVC. Hope that helps!

I got my interview date yesterday, Dec. 13th in Stockholm. Very exciting!

Does this mean that Dec for Mumbai is about to get full? What logic is followed while assigning dates?
