To all of us who are going through this process.. How did yall feel when your spouses/future spouses is at the embassy getting their interview ? I don't know about yall.. I do feel more nervous than I ever have in my life. Part of it is being anxious and other part is being worried too.. I guess it's all normal ? She is in Manila and I wish I could be there with her.

My fiancee interviewed in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. I went with her and while she attended the interview, I pretty much paced back in forth in the hotel room and the parking lot. It was hard to sit still, but fortunately, she was done in about 3 hours and was approved! It is a difficult wait.

I think absolutely it's normal to be nervous about the interview - it's an important part of the process and you happiness hangs in it's balance.

If you've followed the guides and your fiance presents the required documentation to the Consulate, the vast majority of the time the interview goes well.

It's important that you are supportive to your fiance and calm HER nerves before the big day. If you've done your part with the documents then her answers are the key to success in the interview.

Best of luck in your interview!

Thanks for your replies.. My fiancee is less nervous than I am.. We have been waiting three years for this day, so it's a long time coming for this day and I provided three years worth of evidence to prove our intentions are to marry. I will be up late waiting on her text. Take care !

I just got recently approved too. Before my interview, I never thought my fiance was nervous. But then while talking to him, I sensed that he was not just telling me he was nervous coz he want be be the strong part of me when I feel weak or like that time nervous. But then when I knew he was way too nervous than me, I called him up when I was at yet outside the embassy telling him not to worry. I am positive and confident enough that we can make it. I believe in instinct and do believe that as long as we believe, we drive positive vibes and make things happen..ofcourse I have strong faith in Heavens above and lift everything up to Him. It took me until about lunch time before we finished, and he wants me to let him know if we got approved or not. Sure enough, he kept waiting and was relieved to hear such a great news.

Goodluck to you both!

She texted and was approved ! I'm glad its over !

Good news...Congratulations!
