erekose - does the fact that it's an 'overused phrase' mean it's any less valid? Here, I'll try to change it: I stand by what I've said, and I will only refrain if the admin of the site tells me to stop.

Nothing wrong with it - but as 99% of the time noone is actually being told to shut up so I wonder why it isn't simply taken for granted.

I can only comment on this time, so I don't know where you put this in the 1% or 99%. Well, in this instance, I felt it warranted saying. I understand some people's stance to say 'oh not this again' but I felt like the situation warranted me saying something. No, Michelle and I will never get along, and yes, I can coexist here with her...but when Sukie's taken the sh!t (and from me as well), I felt like saying something about it. Especially even in this thread where her other board was brought up...I felt it was in a mocking tone. Yeah I could be wrong, but that's how I felt. And yes, I initially kinda sniggered at it...then I really thought about how good a friend she was to stick up for her friend, so I saw things kinda differently.

No one here ever said earlier 'oh not this again, get a life, beat this dead horse, etc' when Sukie was brought into this conversation...yet I'm the biotch for mentioning the cause for Sukie leaving? Ok, I can deal with that

Well, Welshie..I would have normally not said anything....but when Sukie got brought up into it, it really got me to thinking. Regardless of what went on, Sarah and I were friendly, and to think of all that ensued given the 'goodbye' thread and whatnot...to think she did that to defend her friend..and then to see the friend back here, I dunno...it got me annoyed that Sarah did not get the same loyalty in return, so I said so.

Well I can understand that....but what if said friend never asked other said friend to to defend her or leave VJ? is that really said friend's fault? maybe said friend and other said friend are still very friendly and have no hard feelings at all? maybe you are worrying about other said friend's feelings too much....

do you want to hit me yet? <runs away>

but you are of course entitled to bring it up as much as you like

Well I know you're not, but I'm sure some are wanting to say what a biotch I am, and that's fine.

as far as the one said friend to the other...I did allow for the possibility that I'm wrong, I did admit that I'm speculating here. I am only going off my own past experiences with the one said friend when we were friendly....I spoke up against something for said friend only to be thrown under the bus later in the day...So I'm figuring history has a way of repeating itself....am I bitter? no, but I am familiar with the MO..and I'm also Italian and have a veryyyyyyy long memory...and to me, there's nothing greater than friends being loyal, so if I'm right about this whole scenario, I think it stinks...for the other said friend
