I am American, my wife is Canadian. We are beginning her DCF process with a lawyer.

For the times she is visiting me she needs to have health insurance. What should she do?

I've already called my provider and they won't cover her (even as my spouse) until she has legal residence in Massachusetts.

I know when my husband and daughter (Candian residents) have come to the States on vacations, we purchased 'travel coverage,' from Blue Cross. I'm sure there are many other companies that provide this service.

I agree with other posters. Get her a traveller insurance. You will not be able to put her on yours till she get legalized and get a SSN.

Thanks
