Case status checker is not reliable. Disregard it.

Some numbers never show up. Some numbers do show up but the status NEVER changes.

Do not worry about it try again at a later date or call USCIS for a case update.

Don't worry try again later, double check your typing and spacing.

Ours has been in for almost 4 months still doesnt show, you can call just to make sure its in their system, they most likely will not tell you anymore than that. Let the wait begin. Good Luck

If you got the letter, that letter is from their main computer system. The web based system is updated from the main computer system. The web system is broke and has been for a few months. I called them. You might want to call them for peace of mind too but you are most likely being processed like me.

So this is why our status has said the same thing since we first filed? We do not even have acceptance, initial review, or anything! We did however have a debacle with mailing address and that shows on there! :)

7/15/11 Sent K1 Petition to Lockbox

8/10/11 STILL NO NOA1!

8/12/11 Called USCIS to get receipt number-NOA1 will be resent

8/16/11 Received NOA1 with date of 7/20/11

1/3/12 NOA2!!!

1/12/12 Got email notice we are through the NVC.

I don't think it is completely broken.

I received the NOA1 text message on Sept 20 (sent package Sept 14) and by Sept 23 my case number was in the system and showing up on the status check and was "touched" for the first time.
