Not to worry, everyone gets nervous when so much is at stake.

You want to check and recheck your petition before mailing it. 2-3 times to make sure you have everything completed and also cross check the different forms to ensure it all matches.

Also, once you mail your initial petition, start looking into the next steps (after NOA2, interviews, etc) and past that (AOS). The name of the game here is preparation and knowing ahead of time what you will need because often getting documentation can take days or weeks. Last thing you want is to find out you need that one document that can delay your case by 2-3 weeks.

You don't need to rush but you want to be be a couple of steps ahead; this will save time and $$ on a process that is already lengthy and costly.

As someone else said better to have too much than not enough and most offices also have a vague disclaimer after the list " and any other documents as needed". Thats where first hand experience helps. Jim.

Hi, I did use cover letter/checklist format in precise order. I got my NOA2 in approximately 5 months.

The cover letter/checklist was nice FOR ME to actually see what I was putting in the manila.

05/29/2013...... Biometric scheduled. . Austin office

07/15/2013...... EAD card arrived in mail today smile.png

10/20/2013...... Green Card approved! NOA hardcopy received!

10/31/2013...... Green Card Delivered!!

07/21/15 90 day Window Opens

07/24/15 I-751 Mailed to Cali. Service Center
09/03/15 Biometeric scheduled and completed

01/26/16 ROC Letter arrived
01/30/16 10 yr Green Card arrived
